Lots of gardening happening lately. I can't wait for the heirloom tomatoes. The lettuce mix is up and very tasty.

Running in the Streets

Another 10k under the expanding belt. We managed to finish the BolderBoulder's 30th Anniversary race without dying and/or training. We walked a little and still managed to only be 10 minutes over last year. All in all, a lot to accomplish before 9:30 am. So here's to us.

Kodak gets a nod

I'm not a fan of Kodak film in general. I'm not sure why, other than I think Fuji & Agfas are better for cross-processing. I don't use a lot of print film and would only buy weird, decaying, long-forgotten Kodak stuff for that 'washed-out 1978 pop-culture-baby-blue' look. Recent Ektachrome formulations definitely have pleasing greens. Sometimes the tones are subdued and rock, contrast-wise. The reason I'm dorking out about this is, before I left, I secured 6 rolls of Kodak Ektachrome Elite II EB 100, expired sometime in the 90's I believe. I had never heard of it before and the price was right on ebay. In short, it's hotness. It's got some craziness in the blue-green realm. The sky-blue colors are crushingly sky-blue when crossed. It also picks up a lot of fringe color and exacerbates the vignetting on this 40mm Nokton like mad. So Kodak gets an A on this (naturally) discontinued film. Film-nerd, out.

Just wanted to openly show some thanks for all the love and support from my friends and loved ones this past stretch. The Bolder Boulder was fun times, the BBQ great (someone please come take some food away). The time has been flying by but honestly, so well-spent. It's difficult really, to know what all to say here and what to keep to myself. I think I must keep some things that are sacred, just so.

There are really amazing things happening to me, around me. There are amazing things yet to come.
