We should sit and talk

Only I'm kind of clammed up a bit. Late morning. I hit a wall. One alarm was PM instead of AM and then I killed the other instead of snoozed it. This morning's early light was beautiful though. Finally rolled out of bed, had some mortality issues, you know the usual.

The show at The Oriental Theater was pretty damn cool. Got to see some great musicians and pretty seriously hot art. Met some new people, saw some old friends and got to photograph a great band and friends of mine, The Jimi Austin. Got to catch up with the uber-genius Tom and see some of his and Adam's work on screen while another friends' band cranked out some hot experimental jazz, if only for a few bars as we walked in. Seriously jam-packed with goodness.

Maybe the best thing was yesterday, hands in the earth, planting an herb garden, tomatoes, peppers. Always great to get dirty with someone you truly care about and if that person reciprocates it, well, that's pretty damn great. So thanks.
