So far so good

On the advice of a good friend, I am using a book to learn some Flash. Why am I learning Flash? It seems that in order to get some jobs, I really should have the knowledge. The problem that I have with it is getting through the very basics that bore me and getting to the advanced stuff that I prolly will not understand. I need to live somewhere in the middle, preferably on the advanced side. I will be throwing up a site to test. I saw a great photographers website that was extremely simple and it was easy to think about how to do it in Flash-possibly.

So the first couple of hours have been boring basics, but in this as in something like basketball, fundamentals are key. Even though I doub't I'll be drawing many horrible looking shapes with a obnoxiously simple gradient in them, I have to at least know how to do something that should be avoided at all costs.

Does that make sense? It does to me.

But it's been a productive day thus far:

Smaller Murakami book -done.
Chorizo and eggs breakfast -done.
Snack -done.
Finish another Lotus painting -done.
Load and shoot some Agfa RSX in ze Holga -done for now.
Sit down and do Flash lessons -1 and 2 done.
Burn 2 disks -done
Shower -done
Dishes -done but never done.

This list is huge. I wish it was bigger than the to-do list. I should have put 'go outside and pretend it's spring' on here. How about 'fold some damn clothes' ...boring.
