I was scolded yesterday in a meeting because apparently, 'We're just having a conversation!?' Which means that my intent to accomplish something in said (2 hour) meeting was really just too much to bear. When you get a bunch of salesmen and nice saleswoman together on one side of the table and you get some creatives/builders/do-ers on the other side, there will be conflict. See, I WANT to get something accomplished. I take great notes so that when we get back to pushing the project forward I can refer to them and do a better job for the salesfolk to more quickly get what we all want done. This is what gets me into trouble, apparently. This is why I was frowned upon. I kept writing. I kept talking. I won't be intimidated by money or position. I'm not satisfied with 'don't create, regurgitate.'We could all do a bit better. Even if they decided a new perspective was worth their o-so-important time I don't have the patience for them to try. Boo for me.
