To catch up a bit, I have been lucky enough to find a position as a darkroom manager. This is very much a lucky factor as I had not set foot in one, ever, before that day. It's volunteer, at least five hours a week and has been a great experience so far. The room is small, cold and the chemicals old. I mixed new developer and fix tonight, after arranging things onto shelves and organizing, localizing, lots of izing, really. So now I may print my frames to my heart's content. I'm learning slowly. The knob I twisted was supposed to increase contrast, that didn't work. Back it off, add some of this, up the time on that a little. It's very experimental as I don't have much book knowledge behind me. but I'm there and I'm learning. It's good.
