No weekend in sight.

I'm very selfish with my free time. I hold it in extremely high value as well. This weekend will be swept up with lots of family time as there is a wedding happening. Which is great, especially since it's here in Denver. Otherwise, family stuff happens in the sleepy town of Akron, CO. By sleepy, I mean, I don't want to go there, ever. I still have family there, and I'm sure they all love it. It's just not my cup o tea. I'm a city kid and it still hasn;t ruined me enough to want to dissapear in a farm town whose major import is probably wind.

Now that wasn't very nice.

I took Monday off though. Oh man, I just realized my new system will be in the office Monday and I won't be here. Ha. It was quoted 1/23/06 and it won't be up and running two months after. Ahhh the smell of corporate hoop jumping and misstimed acquisitions. I hope they don't think that I'll be able to work more now. That's just silly.

So yeah Monday! Mom will be here tonight at near-AM and she will be sick, too. She is debating on whether to come at all but I'm sure she will soldier through it. I told her I won't be mad unless she gets me sick. I'm buffing up vitamins as we speak. Actually, that's a lie. I'm thinking about having a grapefruit juice and vodka when I get home. Or better yet...a salty dog! Is that gin or vodka? The bartender in me is almost gone.
