Oh Canada Day 2 Part 2
We begin to catch the other float-plane sky-rider. I get ready to push the button on the horizon, steady as I can, right into the sun. There is little chance for proper exposure. Tom points out the plane to me, as if I hadn't seen it. He decides to go in for a closer look. I can feel another goofy grin spread across my face.
I am lucky.
We get up right beside the other flyer's left side for what Tom yells to me as "THE CLASSIC AVIATION SHOT!!" I nod in agreement, give him the thumbs-up and show him an appreciative smile for letting me push the shutter at a good target. He nods and firmly grabs the wheel. He dips in and under the plane in one swift move. It solidifies that Tom did crop-dusting or dogfighting. We have skipped to the plane's immediate right side now. Tom gives their pilot a wave and we return to our course, Lake Guerin.
