The garden boxes have been built and filled with perfect soil. The seeds germinated on top of the fridge, saving weeks underground. Stay hopeful. A note about the last image...I just spent a good 40 minutes trying to get that white speck off of a print. I kept dusting the neg and re-wiping it with emulsion-safe cleaner. Here's the second roll out of the darkroom. I had two rolls to develop of Arista 50 shot at the two major events on my political landscape. Diafine arrived so that I didn't have to guess at development times with rodinal as I couldn't reliably find that info. We got some negs. Lessons learned: A: The darkroom is not very light-tight during the day.B: Rodinal + Delta 400 is a little grainy. Delta400 is normally so creamy smooth, I'd shoot it for that property when wanted. Otherwise, I could pick from a handful of films that are going to be grainy in anything or known to be smoother in Rodinal 1:50. This is 120 film, by the way. It also takes 20

The Roots show last night was a huge let-down. I have seen them at least 6 times. Never has it ever been less than amazing. Last night was cool, but I left feeling cheated. So there's this Abbey/Brewery at the top of this giant hill. We hiked up this thing for what must have been at least 45 minutes through these beautiful woods. At one point we even saw some stairs but decided to stay on the path for fear of wood trolls. Today's bonus is not from Munich, it's from Paris, the Lourve to be exact. I was quite taken with The Winged Victory of Samothrace. It's one of the few pictures I took while we were in one small part of the museum. Best food in Paris: A falafel stand in the frantically-busy restaurant district behind Notre Dame.
